about

Wilderness means a wild and uncultivated region, as of forest or desert, uninhabited or inhabited only by wild animals; a tract of wasteland. As Devine Carama reeled from the death of his teenage daughter, surviving through a once in a lifetime global pandemic, and trying to find value as a blackman in a country that increasingly devalues, he worshiped in his "wilderness", through the music. Carama's most personal project to date, dives into the deep corners of agony and pain and uses his experiences to help others navigate the darkness of their trying times. JK-47 produced the entire album and proved once again to be one of the most diversely talented beatsmith in the game.

Special thanks to my brother JK-47. He create every beat on this album, recorded, mix and mastered the entitled project all while putting in 50 hour work weeks on his job. He was able to musically encapsulate my emotions in one of the most difficult times in my life. I'm not sure I would have made it through the last 3 months without the ability to grieve and process things musically and my brother JK provided me the canvas to paint on. He's not just my DJ or a producer, but he's my friend and my brother and I love him with all my heart.
