Back in June I embarked on a musical journey to bring awareness to the case of the late #BreonnaTaylor. A black woman killed by police in a botched and unsubstantiated drug raid. The over policing of communities of color is just one of the many elements of systemic racism. Her death hit me personally due to the death of my own daughter a month later. So for 50 days straight I wrote, recorded and released a verse to highlight all the elements of systemic oppression and make sure my followers didn't forget her name. I've compiled a few of those verses, linked up with Portland producer Luvjonez Music, and created a free album entitled, "Black Man In America". This is a page from my diary in one of the most memorable years in American history.
